Our shared spaces include a yoga deck, many meditation & hammock spots, a swing, and a labyrinth. Each Thursday, we can pick up some organic harvest from the Farmers Market.
You will be staying in beautiful houses, most of which are walking distance from our camp. Those who are further away can use our shuttle/driver and/or 4-wheeler as transportation.

The Path of the Giver
My name is Hemalayaa and I’ve led healing retreats for hundreds of leaders over the past 22 years. As a spiritual teacher, coach, yogini, and Ayurvedic practitioner, I intimately know how draining the path of the coach/healer can be.
Like many of you, I engage in passionate self-care and daily spiritual practices so that I can give to my clients without going into burn-out.
But sometimes I need more…
Despite decades of meditation, yoga, dance, and other wellness practices, I can sometimes feel energetically drained, like a deep dehydration after journeying through the Sahara.
When I truly listen to the wisdom of my body, I know when it is time to pause and replenish my core energy before giving more of myself to others.
At least once a year, I need a weeklong “camp” for sacred inward reflection, connection (self and community), inspiration to creativity flowing from me, and embodiment practices that replenish my core energy reserves.

Q: How much money does the retreat cost?
A: The price of the 7-day retreat including 3 meals/day and lodging in a shared room is $3,600 when paid in full.
Q: Is there a payment plan option?
A: Absolutely! Payment plans are available!
Q: Is there a cancellation policy?
A: Unforeseen circumstances can affect international travel. Our policy is that we will hold your deposit for you to use at a future retreat.
Q: I would prefer to not share lodging. Can I get my own room?

Q: May I come early and/or stay after at the retreat center?

Q: Do you sell the Embody Oracle Card deck or other products in your location?
A: Yes, and some other sacred items for sale in Embody Boutique Tienda as well like my favorite incense, sage, palo santo, embody t-shirts, ayurvedic oils…etc
Q: I am planning to stay and travel around Costa Rica after the retreat. Do you have suggestions of places close by to visit?
A: So many places, so depending on where you’d like to go; beaches, mountains, hots prings….we are centrally located in Atenas, and you can get to these other destinations within 1-3 hours drive. We can arrange a rental car or private driver for you…lot’s to discuss to support your desires, book a call and we can talk further.
Q: My flight leaves early in the morning and I’m thinking of staying in San Jose the night before. Do you have suggestions on where to stay?

And, we are only 30 minutes from the SJO airport, and if you can avoid staying in San Jose, we say, ‘stay in Atenas’ 🙂
Q: How are you taking precautions to stay safe during COVID?
A: We are suggesting everyone start working on their immune system with vitamins and supplements within 15-20 days of arriving.

Sample Itinerary
DAY 1
Retreat begins with an Embody Movement Session, Dinner and Opening Circle. Check in 1 pm, 1st session begins 4 pm.
DAY 2
A day of Movement, Massage (optional, additional price) and Meditation – with an evening fire!
DAY 3
We’ll open with Movement and Meditation, then set off for a day trip to the Waterfall. Returning for Dinner with the Private Chef. All food is catered for throughout the day.
DAY 4
Today we’ll take a trip into our central town, and in the afternoon really dive deep into your Dharma – we’ll workshop your Soul’s Calling, while still finding time to unwind in a hammock!
